Richmond Park has a great variety of trails, pathways and roads that are all accessible for cyclists, and the scenery is undeniably stunning. You can store your bike with us for free, too.

Bordering Richmond Park, the beautiful parkland of The Richmond Golf Club is waiting to be explored. A challenging par 70 6,091 yard course in a peaceful rural setting, where visitors are welcomed. 

Alternatively, Glendale Golf is located in Richmond Park and is home to two 18-hole courses, plus a 20 bay driving range.

River cruises

You'll find a daily timetable at Turks River Cruises, who have routes between Richmond and Hampton Court (the full route is 1 hour and 45 minutes). The accessible boats also welcome children and dogs, and private hire is also available.

Richmond Park

Just a stone's throw from Richmond Hill Hotel, escape to the great outdoors of Richmond Park with its wide open spaces, grasslands and deer herds. The National Nature Reserve is a top UK site for ancient trees and supports a range of rare species including fungi, birds, beetles, bats, grasses and wildflowers. Some of our favourite spots are the Isabella Plantation woodland gardens, The Tamsin Trail and King Henry’s Mound.

Ham House Gardens

A unique 17th century treasure trove, the gardens at the gorgeous Ham House are dog friendly and are a lovely alterative to the many parks and walking routes nearby.
