Hampton Court Palace Gardens - 20 minute drive from the hotel

Another destination for the green-fingered bucket list locally is Hampton Court Palace’s world-famous gardens that include 60 acres of spectacular formal gardens and 750 acres of parkland.

RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival - 20 minute drive from the hotel

For the ultimate day of gardening inspiration, why not visit us during the Festival (this year it's on from 6th – 11th July). It is the world’s largest annual flower show, stretching over 34 acres. It is a real celebration of gardening set in the historic grounds of Hampton Court Palace where visitors can enjoy live music whilst being blown away by the designs in the show gardens and exploring some of the displays across the site. Kew Gardens - Less than 15 minutes drive, just over half an hour walk from the hotel

You could easily spend the whole day exploring the paradisal Kew Gardens, with the largest and most diverse collection of living plants, there is so much to discover. A peaceful escape from the bustling city, revel in the fresh air as you wander through 300 acres of beautiful green space.

200 metres long and 18 metres above ground, one of the must-do activities in Kew Gardens is the Treetop Walkway. Nestled amongst chestnut and oak trees, the walkway offers a unique, birds’ eye-view of the Royal Gardens.

Ham House Gardens - 10 minutes drive, just under half an hour walk from the hotel

Set on the bank of the Thames you can also visit Ham House which has been virtually untouched for 400 years. The garden is as much of a draw as the house itself. Much of the original gardens have been restored by the National Trust. They are inspired by its history with a focus on sustainability as well as the encouragement and preservation of wildlife.
