Kew Gardens | 30 mins walk | 20 mins drive

Food Forever | 21 May - 18 September
Embracing the changes in the world, culture and in what we intake too, let us discover the future of Food at Kew. Transforming the world to be a better place through creativity. A major exhibition and four art installation dispersed across the Botanic gardens. Drop by the workshop sessions, talks and evening events. Entering summer by stepping into the future.

Why not take a 144 On the Hill takeaway picnic with you whilst you sing your summer nights away with re-imagined classic performances.
 


Hampton Court Palace 25 mins drive | 90 mins walk
Grade I listed royal palace in Richmond Borough, home to famous King Henry VIII back in 1500s. Summer events include:

The Artisan Festival  | 13 - 15 May 
A day trip or even a weekend with your family or friends in Henry VIII’s home. A day full of fun, with different stalls ranging from arts and crafts to food and drinks and lots of exciting pop-ups all in one place. A way to kickstart your summer spirit.

Shire Horse Carriage Rides  | 1 May - 30 June 
Make a day of it; and live in Bridgerton style. Your royal carriage awaits!

Jubilee joust | 1 - 5 June
In celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee get your martial game face on and join the Jubilee joust.

The Hampton Court Palace festival | 9 - 25 June

RHS Hampton Court Flower Show | 4 - 10 July 
Featuring various floral marquees, garden displays, pavilions as well as demonstrations and talks hosted in one of London’s royal palaces.
 

The Green, Richmond | 15 mins walk | 5 mins cycle
On 5 June, grab a takeaway picnic from 144 On The Hill and take it to the Richmond Green and celebrate the Jubilee with some locals too whilst you enjoy live Jazz to get you in the summer mood.

The Syon Park | 20 mins drive | 55 mins walk
Calling all the foodies and food lovers out there! From 3 - 5 June Syon Park is hosting a foodies festival. A 3-day event with a great line-up of chefs with their signature dishes, live music and performances. What more could you want?

Ham Fair | 25 mins walk | 5 mins drive
The annual fair takes place on 11 June from 11am. The traditional village fair is just around the corner waiting for you to experience the different stalls they have set up this year. Perfect for a family day out. Dancers and musicians will be on hand to entertain the troops. 

Royal Ascot | 50 mins drive | 50 mins train from Richmond station
Enjoy a day or two at the races with a difference from 14 – 14 June. Get dressed up and enjoy the  glorious explosion of magic with the all-star cast, racing and fine dining. 

Ham polo | 20 mins walk | 5 mins drive
The last surviving club in London, Ham Polo. The summer season has arrived every Sunday through May- September. With various exciting events in between each week.

Wimbledon | 30 mins drive
The home of tennis and the world’s oldest tournament. Tennis player or lover be ready with matches running from 28 June – 10 July. Be part of history this year and do not miss the event of the year – even if you catch it on the big screen in a local pub instead of the live action.
